ABOUT US

Lisa Howrihane (MICB PM.Dip)

I graduated from the University of Kent in 2010 with a degree in Biological Anthropology. My love of primates led me to a volunteer programme in Borneo helping to rehabilitate orphaned Orang-utans. To help fund this trip, I took a temporary job in an accountancy practice where I discovered my love for organising and problem solving.

After my travels, I returned to the same practice where I continued to work for over seven years. I worked my way up from a temporary member of staff brought in to sort out the filing, to a client manager where I managed a portfolio of over forty clients of varying sizes and requirements. My duties within this role included bookkeeping, payroll, company secretarial, personal tax returns, accounts production and liaising with clients.

My passion for producing a high level and efficient service for the businesses that I have managed has given me a real incentive to strive to create my own bookkeeping business. I am a practice licence holder and a Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
