ABOUT US

Lisa Howrihane (MICB PM.Dip)
I graduated from the University of Kent in 2010 with a degree in Biological Anthropology. My love of primates led me to a volunteer programme in Borneo, helping to rehabilitate orphaned orangutans.
To fund the trip, I took a temporary role in an accountancy practice, where I discovered my passion for organising and problem solving.
After returning from my travels, I continued working at the same practice for over seven years. I worked my way up from a temporary member of staff to a client manager, managing a portfolio of over forty clients of varying sizes and requirements.
My duties included bookkeeping, payroll, company secretarial, personal tax returns, accounts production and liaising with clients.
My passion for delivering a high-quality, efficient service led me to start my own bookkeeping business. I am a practice licence holder and a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
Today, I provide bookkeeping services to small businesses across Kent, including Medway, Maidstone and Canterbury. As a bookkeeper in Kent, I help businesses stay organised, compliant and in control of their finances using Xero cloud accounting.
I understand the challenges small businesses face and provide practical, hands-on support tailored to your needs.
If you’re looking for a friendly, reliable bookkeeper, feel free to get in touch to see how I can support your business.
